A Three-Year Internship Journey with The Speedy Foundation
As my time with The Speedy Foundation comes to a close, I want to extend my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to serve as a Philanthropy and Outreach Intern over the past three years.
I began this internship during my freshman year of college, and it has remained a meaningful and consistent part of my undergraduate experience through graduation. During this time, I have had the opportunity to support The Speedy Foundation’s mission of suicide prevention and mental health education through community outreach, fundraising initiatives, event coordination, and awareness efforts.
Through these experiences, I have gained a deeper understanding of nonprofit work and the importance of accessible mental health resources. Engaging with community members, supporting outreach events, and contributing to organizational initiatives has strengthened my appreciation for collaboration, communication, and mission-driven work.
I am especially grateful for the support and trust I have received throughout my time with the organization. Being part of The Speedy Foundation has significantly shaped my academic and professional development, and it has deepened my commitment to mental health action.

With Care,
